What Non-DOT BAT is
Non-DOT breath alcohol testing measures breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) outside of federal regulation.
Testing follows your employer's own policy thresholds, or the requirements of a court, probation officer, or program.
An initial screening test is performed first. If the result is 0.02 or higher, a confirmation test is performed on an evidential breath testing device after a 15-minute waiting period.
